Coach Shiltz Bio

Matt Shiltz is in his eighth year as a professional quarterback, currently playing for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL. After graduating from Butler University in 2015, he had workouts with the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. In 2017, he was signed by the Montreal Alouettes, where he spent five years before moving to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the next two seasons.

During his CFL career, Matt has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most talented and knowledgeable figures in the game, including Scott Milanovich, Anthony Calvillo, Tommy Condell, and Dave Dickenson. This experience has allowed him to gain valuable playing time at the professional level.

In 2020, Matt began coaching youth quarterbacks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He has worked with young athletes of all ages, from first graders to elite college players. Matt has trained with Coach Frazier and Old School Quarterbacks (OSQB) to refine his skills, and in 2021, he joined the OSQB coaching staff.

Passionate about developing young quarterbacks, Matt is dedicated to helping athletes achieve their goals both on and off the field. His professional playing experience and the disciplined lifestyle required by the quarterback position make him a valuable asset to the team, contributing to the development of quarterbacks and athletes of all ages.
